How the Boreal Fights Climate Change

About 12% of the world’s land-based carbon reserves—equivalent to up to 36 years’ worth of global fossil fuels emissions—is stored in the soils, peatlands & wetlands of the Boreal Forest in Canada, which means it’s an incredibly important nature-based climate solution.
